⚽️ Soccer field coming to former Odd Fellows site while it awaits redevelopment

Construction is underway on a soccer field at 27th and Lake Street, bringing some life to a prominent vacant lot that is still at least two years away from redevelopment. The semi-public field and event area is scheduled to open next month, one of several bursts of programming on vacant Lake Street lots spurred by a one-time influx of state funding.
