💃 Exploring the Minnehaha Dance District

There are four prominent dance studios clustered within a few block stretch of Minnehaha, which seems notable even though it's more or less a coincidence. The groups have no formal association nor any particular need to be near each other, and though they know one another in the ways that neighbors and people in the same industry do, they haven't officially fraternized much. Until now.

Next weekend, for the first time, the four studios are joining forces for a daylong event called the "Longfellow Dance Party" on Saturday, May 31. I took that as an excuse to sashay down Minnehaha and pay a visit to each.
