💿 Famed local record store Extreme Noise moving to 36th and Lake
The south Minneapolis institution will move into the former Nostalgia Zone Comics space, part of a recent shuffle of storefronts in the historic commercial building.
Longtime south Minneapolis punk rock record store Extreme Noise will move to 36th and Lake in May, part of a recent shuffle of storefronts in the historic commercial building.
To recap: As hinted here last month, Extreme Noise will take over the small storefront from Nostalgia Zone Comics, which recently moved into a larger new space next door, formerly occupied by Prairie Woodworking. On the corner, Time Bomb Vintage is also expanding into a section of the old Prairie Woodworking Shop, and calling its new side room "Time Bomb Records." Coupled with the rock venue Cloudland next door, and the DJ-centric Wax World Records around the corner, the tenants are hoping the cluster of likeminded businesses can become a destination shopping trip.
