💿 Storied record store Extreme Noise moving to 36th and Lake
The south Minneapolis institution will move into the former Nostalgia Zone Comics space, part of a recent shuffle of storefronts in the historic commercial building.
As hinted here last month, longtime south Minneapolis punk rock record store Extreme Noise will move to 36th and Lake in May, part of a recent shuffle of storefronts in the historic commercial building.
To recap: Extreme Noise will take over the small storefront from Nostalgia Zone Comics, which recently moved into a larger new space next door, formerly occupied by Prairie Woodworking. On the corner, Time Bomb Vintage is also expanding into a section of the old Prairie Woodworking Shop, and calling its new side room "Time Bomb Records." Coupled with the rock venue Cloudland next door, and the DJ-centric Wax World Records around the corner, the tenants are hoping the cluster of likeminded businesses can become a destination shopping trip.
