🎃 Longfellow Halloween highlight reel
A near-exhaustive look at Longfellow's Halloween decor.
For the third year running, Longfellow Whatever has undertaken the tedious but pleasurable work of surveying the neighborhood's Halloween displays — big and small, store-bought and homemade, creepy and campy.
This year's run documents nearly 500 displays stretched across almost 60 miles of neighborhood roadways, all undertaken at some amount of financial and time cost with the express goal of adding whimsy to the streetscape. The highlights below represent just a fraction of the fun, so I've also put together an interactive map of 100 notable displays, and a separate map of all 486 yards captured.
If yours is missing, there are a number of possible explanations, none of which involve me not being impressed. If you notice a display left out, respond to this e-mail.
